PapeCut MF supports a wide range of Canon Multifunctional devices through their PaperCut MEAP application. To install PaperCut on a Canon device, you must first check compatibility, which can be checked on the following website:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Once you have verified that your Canon device is compatible with PaperCut MF, follow the instructions below to apply the MEAP license. For your convenience, we\u2019ve added a video and an easy-to-follow PDF guide for installing the license and JAR file.<\/span><\/p>

Please note that the LAN code used to generate the license file corresponds to a specific JAR file, that together needs to be applied on the Canon device. These LAN codes and their corresponding JAR files can be found in the ([PaperCut MF Install Location]\\providers\\hardware\\canon\\Americas) folder of any PaperCut MF v24.0.2 or newer instance. Should you need to access those files and do not have access to a PaperCut MF server, please use the link to the drive below that will contain the latest LAN codes and JAR files available.<\/span><\/p>

Retrieving Application and PaperCut Hive MEAP<\/h3>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

1. PaperCut Hive Admin Interface (only customers or resellers with Hive subscription have access to this)<\/p>

2. Select the Canon device. A window on the left will slide out.<\/p>

3. Select Apps. If the customer\/reseller has an entitlement for a Canon app, then the window changes and instructions to download the app and install are shown.<\/p>

4. The downloaded folder contains the PaperCut Hive MEAP apps for Canon (.jar files) and the LAN codes in .txt files.<\/p>

Resellers use the MEAP license generator:<\/a><\/p>
