PaperCut has done it again! Tis’ the season of giving, and Papercut has done just that with the all-new Papercut MF version 21.2! With all the new features Papercut is bringing to the table, your customer will be amazed at the latest and greatest software.
Papercut MF is already so great, it’s hard to imagine it could get any better, but it did! With Version 21.2, Papercut has added support for user/password Authentication for Azure AD sync. With this, users can self-associate their card at the device when a new or unknown card is used. Now users can authenticate at the device through the user/admin web interface, the PaperCut user client, the Release Station interface, the Print Deploy client, and the Mobility Print client. This gives users the ability to pick which authentication method works best, with even more options to pick from.
Time is of the essence and something we at ACDI consider valuable. When we can save time doing something, we jump at the bit! Processing time has almost become a thing of the past. With the new multi-threaded processing for large searchable PDF documents, the processing time is down 50%. That’s right, 50%!
Faxing is not a thing of the past, and we know that! So does PaperCut, and that’s why they are continuing to make enhancements on scan to fax. They have additional device releases for Toshiba v3, Sharp OSA n2, Xerox, Canon MEAP, and HP OXP. But that’s not the only addition to faxing; there is a new fax integration with eGoldFax and a new fax integration with Concord. New, new, new! Did we mention we like new features and integrations?
Out with the old and in with the new! In light of making your life easier, the Cloud Print admin interface has a whole new look and feel. You can turn on cloud print when people need to print from outside your network. So now it’s not only easier to use but manage as well. Remember, off-network printing was the hero of 2020, so make sure to use this as a selling point.
