The Managed Print Services Association (MPSA) – The Who, What, How, and Why Their Advisory Board is Key to The Overall Imaging Industry!

This year ACDI started with an ‘Envision 2020′ initiative, and we had hoped on announcing this months ago, but covid19 had other plans in mind for the world. So, without further a due, we would like to announce the newest MPSA Executive Committee member, Mark Hart, who will serve as their Treasurer. Mark, the executive director of business development for ACDI, was elected back in late 2019. The Managed Print Services Association (MPSA) is a not-for-profit, volunteer-led association to help further Managed Print.

A little background about the Managed Print Services Association, founded in 2009, they provide education, research, and best practices to help organizations actively manage and optimize their document output devices and related business processes. The MPSA is the only international, independent, and nonprofit MPS organization that embraces all industry participants in a collaborative environment. The influence of any single company, large or small, is prevented by the MPSA charter.

Their members’ mission is to address and optimize businesses’ office document management while enhancing the growth, efficiency, and profitability of the MPS segment. They do so through advocacy, marketing, research, and a general interest in the community. Through covid19, this committee was crucial in helping with many decisions made throughout the imaging industry.

“I was honored to be selected by my industry peers to sit on the executive board for the MPSA. I hope that I am able to offer some new thoughts and ideas to the group that will help us all create new paths to the future for our printing industry.” – Mark Hart

This is important to the imaging industry because MPSA provides opportunities for members to present their MPS-related products and services to the end-user community in an informational environment. It also provides a worldwide presence and professional reputation for MPS and its participants through marketing, case studies, and other media.

Having an executive committee who can support all the members of the MPSA is critical for success. All stakeholders in the MPS industry benefit from high-quality education and information. Their goal is to become the single best-focused resource available on all areas of MPS, through technical research of manufacturer hardware, software applications, processes, and industry trends. When the MPSA meet, they focus on how they can empower end-users to make smarter decisions regarding their MPS strategies.
